You make four choices with hair extensions. The tip type decides how the hair is attached, length and strand weight shape the look, and the piece count sets the pack size. The five products on this page are made from the same Uzbek hair and differ only by shade group. The strands are real human hair, so they can be coloured and styled with heat.
Keratin tip, capsule bond and micro ring are applied with heat and give the least visible result. Micro bead is clamped with a small ring and pliers, with no heat or glue. Tape-in uses a flat adhesive tape and is the fastest to apply. Weft is sewn in or attached over a braid, and butterfly tips are a keratin bonded option some stylists prefer for their own technique.
A fixed number would be misleading, because the result depends on your hair density, the volume you want, the length and the strand weight. Most of our customers buy 50 to 100 pieces for volume and partial length, and 150 pieces or more for a full length change. Packs run from 25 to 500 pieces. Lengths are 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 cm, strand weights are 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 g. Fine and thin hair looks more natural with 0.6 to 0.8 g, thick hair with 1.0 to 1.2 g. If in doubt, show a lock of your hair to your stylist and ask.
21 colours are grouped into five shade families. Platinum tones cover #613 bleach blonde, #60 icy blonde, #22 light blonde, #24 golden blonde and #1001 grey. Brunette tones run from #2 dark brown to #8 light brown, and black tones include #1 jet black and #1B natural black. Highlighted blonde and ombre shades are separate products. Match the colour to the ends of your own hair. Darkening a light strand is easier than lightening a dark one, so if you are between two shades, the lighter one is the safer pick.
Yes. All our extensions are 100 percent real Uzbek human hair with no synthetic blend. They withstand blow drying, curling irons and straighteners, and can be coloured.
Yes, because they are real hair. Lightening dark shades stresses the hair, so pick the closest lighter shade to your target and have small corrections done at the salon.
It depends on your hair density, the volume you want, the length and the strand weight. 50 to 100 pieces for volume and 150 or more for full length are the most common ranges. Ask your stylist if unsure.
Keratin, capsule and micro ring need heat, so they are applied at the salon. Some people fit a small number of micro bead or tape-in strands themselves, but we recommend a stylist for a full application.
The strands are real hair and last for months with regular care. As your hair grows the bonds move down, and depending on the tip type they need repositioning at the salon every two to three months. Micro bead and keratin strands can be reused with care.
Straight natural strands return to their natural form after washing and can be restyled with a blow dryer or iron. Use sulphate free shampoo and wash two to three times a week.
